BILLING OPTIONS (ELECTRIC)

Pre-Pay Program

Members of Orange County REMC can apply to participate in our Pre-Pay Program. With the program, the member will not be mailed a monthly statement for electric use. The member is responsible for regularly monitoring the balance on the account.

Pre-Pay Program

Variable Budget Billing

Most people experience higher electric bills in summer and winter, when temperatures are at extreme highs and lows. Members who enroll in our Variable Budget Billing program can avoid this seasonal swing and can have their bill amount averaged based on the previous 12 months of electric use.

Note: The consumer agrees payment will be made by the due date each month. If payment is delinquent more than twice in a 12 month period, Orange County REMC will remove the consumer from the budget payment plan.

The consumer understands the monthly payment is not the amount actually billed and they will be liable for any balance due or will be given credit for any overpayment at the time of termination of this agreement, or at the time service is disconnected.

Due Date Extension

If the due date on your bill falls before your monthly social security or disability check arrives, due date extension can help by deferring your bill amount until after your social security or retirement check arrives. Payment is deferred until the sixth day of the month without a late charge.

Due Date Extension

Seasonal Bill Forward

For our seasonal travelers, the REMC will forward your monthly bill to the address you provide. No need to worry about missing a payment or paying late fees. Contact our office with your forwarding address.
